People think that digg is democratic but it is the furthest thing from it. As this blog post here shows, 66% of all stories posted on digg that make it to the homepage and pushed there by the same 60 people. The same can probably be said of Newsvine.
Humo Magazine adverts attempt to satirise current events to convert the news savvy public into humour-magazine reading punters. Or is using the WTC 9/11 to advertise anything just bad taste?
